Biography | |
Born in Flushing, NY.
Raised in Atlanta GA.
BBA degree in marketing.
In my pursuit of creating a masterpiece in my art and life, I have lived and worked in basements (thrice), lived in a laundry room, lived in a trailer, homeless (twice), lost a marriage, sold my art on the streets and in flea markets numerous times, had numerous nervous breakdowns, worked in convenience stores (five years) ,and endured the disgrace of being judged as a grown intelligent man underacheiving in this life (in the eyes of my intellectual peers),while quietly all the while working on my art and philosophy about reality and it's ties to the creative process.
On the upside I have met and conversed and lived with fabulously entertaining people, had awesome experiences, at one time had lots of money and lost it, redeemed my soul from the onslaught of drugs and alcohol, spent two weeks on the town in Paris at The Mayor's Show, loved many wonderful women, and helped create some marvelous, magical shows in conjunction with other artists.
I am a free spirit creator who started painting twenty years ago in an attempt to express the power of our unconscious and subconscious via paint and color.
Also a philosopher,

I attempt to illustrate through words an honest and clear view of reality; and through art my current expression of that truth in the unconscious movement of my brushes and paint." |

The subjects often stylized, blurred, repeated or broken down into basic forms so that it becomes unrecognizable. Intangible subjects such as thoughts, emotions, and time are often expressed in abstract art form. |
