| Biography | |
I grew up in Surrey and have a love for art and music. My musical background gave me inspiration to paint from a young age. After studying Art and Design at the Surrey Institute I then continued my creative studies at Wimbledon School Of Art where I completed a three year BA Hons degree in Set Design for Film, TV and Theatre. I currently work full time for a major film distributor in Central London but continue to paint in my spare time.
'My work is inspired by our natural surroundings, mainly landscapes and architecture. Music also plays a huge part in my art, the way I apply colour to the blank canvas and how I move the paint around it with my brush. I like to experiment with colours and texture to express different moods/emotions and create abstract forms. An abstract painting is like a patchwork of many ideas and smaller paintings all brought together to create one form of expression which has more then one explanation'.
