Born within sight of the River Mersey and the Liverpool Liver Buildings situated in the North of the United Kingdom . Educated to Masters Degree Level at Liverpool and Bristol University.

I have earned my living working Freelance and Teaching within the Graphic Design and Fine Art world ever since. Paintings during 2009 will be connected to my lifelong love of the sea and to celebrate the 25 years of sailing the Oceans in a small wooden sailing boat. I intend to keep the original oil paintings in one artist collection and to sell Limited Edition Giclee Fine Art prints taken from them with total runs of 500 signed and numbered copies.

Paintings in 2010 will all be based on different places in the World in which I have run. Being a keen amateur runner and marathonier I have many happy memories and emotions connected to particular places whether Rural or Urban. Quite often early morning runs leave you with smells and sights of an area that are unique! A veritable goldmine of information and inspiration for some large oil paintings from which I intend once again to sell Giclee prints and packs of cards.

During 2011 I intend to work both traditionally producing some large oil paintings on canvas, delving into how an image interrelates with it`s environment and digitally, using CorelDraw and CorelPainter in order to work into the original paintings.

My fine art work during 2012 + 2013  will connect with my passions - intensly personal vistas! These paintings will be produced in water based oil paints and painted on 4ft x 3ft stretched canvas.                  I plan to sell prints whilst keeping the original works in an Artist Collection for future Exhibitions.
