One painting was selected to exhibit in “Asian Modern Fine Arts Exhibition” and Tokyo Modern Art Museum.

1982
|
Entrusted by Asian Modern Fine Arts Association of Japan, organized Chinese painters in the name of “ Canton Fine Arts Research Board” to participate the annual “Asian Modern Fine Arts Exhibition”. This international activity continued many years.

1983
|
Tried Avant-garde art with some young painters and held the earliest Avant-garde Art Exhibition after the reform and opening-up in Canton, but very soon all the works were confiscated by local police.

1984
|
Held the first Christianity Fine Arts Exhibition in China with several artist friends and did it again the next year.

1985
|
Held the very first personal exhibition in Cultural Park in Canton and at the same time conducted the 2nd Avant-garde Art Exhibition with several artist friends in the 1st museum of Cultural Park.

1987

Became a member of Artists Association of Guangdong Province and hired as a foreign affairs adviser by oil painting department, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.

1988
|
Appointed by Mr. Xuanping Ye, the then-governor of Guangdong Province as a member of Research Institute of Culture and History of Guangdong Province.
Held an exhibition together with the famous Australian painters ---- the Betz couple.
Appointed as an outside painter of Art Academy of Guangzhou.
A work of miniature oil painting named “Road” was displayed in the Exhibition of Small Works of Art in Canada and gained the first prize.

Invited by Melbourne Academy of Fine Arts to give lectures but could not make it because of the Event of Tian’anmen Square ( The Event of 4th June );
Filmed as topic television program by Guangdong TV Station and Taiwan Zhongtian TV Station.
