I was born in Ile-Ife,osun state of Nigeria.I have always liked unique new things.I always like to do things differently.I dislike conformity!.I get bored easily with the usual commonplace things.This led to my search for a medium of art different from what everybody is used to.THREADWORKS was  the ultimate result.

THREADWORKS iis a rare,near extinct, African form of art made from silk thread and evostic gum on board or cloth or canvas.

It is not the usual artist choice as a medium because of its cumbersome and slow process.After sketching the drawing,you apply the gum(on a small area of about 2in sguare),then allow it to thicken for about7 to ten minutes,then you lay(not weave)the thread.Then,you repeat the process and continue untill you finish.
