Biography | |
As an artist inspired by design and visual arts, working primarily in oils on canvas and digital photography, commissioned works have been a mainstay for years. Portraits and landscapes make up the majority of my work, many times both existing within the same piece. Light, color, and form work a fascination; everyday events or occurrences can become interest and wonder to the senses.
I have entered juried art shows locally as a means of feedback and development. Getting one's name known in the art field is a long and and arduous process yet, rewarding too.
Having studied art for a time in the southwest during college, I came to appreciate the wide expanse, rugged environment, and beauty in those things which were not familiar to me. I have since returned to where I am most familiar, eastern Pennsylvania, and have continued an extraordinary affair with brush, oil, and canvas.
Thanks,
Ken, artist |
