Biography
The inspiration for my art comes from a deep love and appreciation for the beauty of the natural world. Be it landscapes, floral, or the human form, these are the things I respond to, and feel compelled to capture on paper or canvas. My primary mediums are oil, watercolor, and pastel. Two of my life drawings are featured in North Light Book's Strokes of Genius: Best of Drawing, and two more life drawings will be in North Light's future publication Strokes of Genius: Best of Light and Shadow.

Style Abstract Expressionism

Movement in painting, originating in New York City in the 1940s. It emphasized spontaneous personal expression, freedom from accepted artistic values, surface qualities of paint, and the act of painting itself. Pollock, de Kooning, Motherwell, and Kline, are important abstract expressionists.
