Description | |
This is a 18 x 24 inch oil painting on gessoed masonite board. The subject is a traildrive in the oild west from Texas to Abilene, Kansas. Starting about 1865, ranchers in Texas started driving their cattle north to railheads in Kansas such as Abilene. The painting is framed in a gold toned 3 inch frame. It is signed by me in the lower left corner. I hope you enjoy the painting. |
