Let's see the most beautyfull watercolours on the world. Credo of Chris Ludwin: I most often paint using three colours. But I also use earthy colours – sienna and umber. Actually I can paint any colour I find, but it depends on a motif’s feeling and character. What influences the style of the painting? It depends on the attitude to life, people, things and everyday life. And these are: the state of being extrovert, spitfire, fierce, vulgar, together with hidden romanticism, melancholy (I think it’s brain’s oxygen deficiency), cynicism, ruthlessness in finding your own time in creating, giving up making big money, but also tea, sometimes alcohol consumption (as a pleasure not a must), coffee, self-discipline, tolerance of morons, warm heart, admiration of women – their souls and bodies (it stimulates this delicate side of art), talking, talking to people, to fellow-painters exchanging experiences, etc. And also you have to paint loads of square meters of canvas and paper. There’s no other way. This is practice but it makes you addicted to it. I don’t touch many subtle mysteries, but what I’ve just said… well, enough is enough.
