Description 
It's essentially a family portrait. The colors represent emotions and the faces in those colors tell each story: the father or older man in green talks about a continued emotional connection. It is green because it is good but also that it never stops which is also a source of pain. The yellow around the face represents light, love, the good things, and the happiness. In this case, the face is that of a woman's but just like the sun, at its brightest it is also quite hot... Below the blue is represented with an older woman, like a mother and the face of a child (could be a sibling, daughter, sister, etc; the woman a bit more serious in the face, the child is happier. Blue usually is comforting, its like a calling, like the tale of the sea. It is good, therein lies comfort but it is not a bright blue so that indicates that there are emotional struggles there as well. In the red are the faces of two children. Red of coarse means stop. So here is where the real emotions in the piece bleed out. There is of course an element of love, red is associated with valentines, hearts, etc, but it also represents blood - the very root of the heart as it were. Since red is both never ending yet finite (it stops too) this is where the piece ends but also continues.
