I find the range and variety of doors and gates in south west France intriguing and very paintable. They are beautifully weathered and faded by the sun and rarely spoiled by paint or varnish.

This is a painting of my neighbours front door in a small hamlett in south west France. PLEASE NOTE LEFT HAND CORNER HAS SLIGHT REFLECTION FROM FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY. THIS IS NOT IN THE PAINTING.

The painting is mounted and framed (included in above price). The frame is silver matt with grey / green mount which really sets off the paintings colours.

H - 46.5cm
