| Biography | |
Fabrizio Van Marciano began painting at the age of 16, producing a portfolio of artwork mainly for personal and college studies. His much earlier original works were one off creations, painting vast landscapes on canvas using mainly oils. His ongoing studies of various mediums has lead him to find his passion for water-based colours such as acrylic, gouache and ground watercolours on large canvases, still on the theme of contemporary and abstract landscapes. Today Fabrizio's works are sold all over the world with a client base ranging from private collectors to corporate organisations. His works are hosted and featured in galleries in Toronto, Paris, London and New York. Fabrizio also became an EBSQ certified artist in August 2005 with all of his original works produced to date signed, dated and certified on the reverse. The artist currently paints fulltime from his home studio on the north Cornish coastline in the United Kingdom.
The most prominent features in Fabrizio's works is the use of colours and lines, using a colour mixing system on a porcelain pallet occasionally with textured mediums such as liquitex and sand., thus creating stunning textured effects on the canvas.
Fabrizio also carries out commission work based on photographic images of landscapes and seascapes in an array of colours and sizes. |
