Biography
Fabrizio Van Marciano was born on the small tropical Island of Mauritius. He has lived all his life by the ocean and even to this day being thousands of mile from home he still finds time to muster the hymns of the sea. Fabrizio began painting and drawing at the age of 12, almost immediately taking a liking to painting sunsets. He remembers the days of family trips down to Cornwall and sitting on the beach in Marazion overlooking St Michaels Mount, painting the sunsets that caressed the horizons of the north coast. As a self-taught artist Fabrizio always admired other artists work, looking for ways in which he could make certain elements of a painting work better with the combination of smooth blends of colours, lighting and shadows. The simplistic lines in his ever so popular contemporary seascapes are something to be desired, with over 2000 private collectors worldwide since 2003, Fabrizio is on a course to success in the world of modern contemporary art.
