Markas (Martin) Akoghlyan was born in March 6th, 1958, Yerevan, Armenia.
1974 - 1977 studied at Art College after Panos Terlemezyan, department of Painting.
A member of the painters' Union of Armenia.
A member of the painters association "Kerpar" (translated from Armenian as "character").
A member of of the painters' association "Mairakaghak" (translated from Armenian as "capital").
Since 1978 has taken part in numberous exhibitions.
1992 - 1995 had private exhibitions in Athens, Greece.
2001 - "Christian Armenia" devoted to the 1700 anniversary of the Christianity - Yerevan.
2001 - group exhibition in Ravena, Italy ("Dante in Armenian Art".)
2004 - group exhibition in Paris (Sal Draq center) - auction center.
Several works are exhibited in Lachin State Museum (Artsakh).
Noemberyan State Museum. Several works are exhibited in "Wenthword Gallery" USA. Has works in private collections (England, Greece, Canada, Israel, France, Russia, Lebanon and in other countries). |
