Biography
Artist Renee Dumont was born in Blackstone Massachusets and has achieved her Associates Degree in 1983 and has been painting and drawing since an early age. Dumont developed a desire to become a realist painter and has self-taught the technique to paint as a realist. The artist likes to capture her viewers with her use of light and color. She mixes all her own colors and never uses black. "Each new piece fills me with a sense of spiritual energy as I strive to speak with a strong feeling of peace and wonder." The artist has produced paintings for national organizations, corporate companies, and the U.S. government. Renee is open to commission work for special events and gifts. Renee's memberships include The Oil Painters of America and The Portrait Society of America
