Biography
Artist, Sculptor,Art and Technology Teacher who graduated from NYU,Columbia U, and Lesley College.I have exhibited and taught the art of clay in a variety of museums and galleries in Northern California and on the east coast.

The ceramic sculptures can be used as indoor or outdoor garden sculptures and many of them can be used as planters or fountains. I also am happy to create custom sculptures for individuals or businesses. I am truly looking for relationships with galleries, individuals or businesses that are interested in purchasing my sculptures or know of places or people that have an interest in purchasing or ordering ceramic sculpture. I am hoping to locate those individuals or businesses and/or institutions that can help me locate a place for my extremely reasonably priced artwork. I will be happy to send along slides or a CD on request.

Help support the arts by purchasing art directly from the artists. This is the only way artists can survive and have money to purchase the art materials that are generally needed for any work of art. As a starving artist for over 4 decades, young students often come up to me and ask why one keeps producing works ( I have thousands). I do because it is the only thing I know how to do really well!!!! This photo is a photo of "live art performance " through a wonderful and varied group of artists out of San Jose. I was working on my sculpture on a Saturday along with musicians, painters while also trying to sell art work..when I was recently asked that question,"Why art..." I used to teach but as the arts have become less and less important to the decision makers who create and pass budgets, I have focused on creating sculptures and sculptures and sculptures for decades...

Through decades of studying and creating art and sculpture, I have often tried to pass on my love and enjoyment of art to others by teaching. Often I use the female form in conjunction with animals, vegetation and natural elements to express our connections and isolation with the world around us. I hope to locate a place for my ceramic sculptures in this world. As I have seen and heard the wonder and enjoyment of children and adults viewing my artwork at a variety of galleries such as the Artists' Guild Gallery in Eureka, Ca. and at schools where I would volunteer on a daily basis to pass on the art of sculpture to others. I am hoping to locate businesses, galleries, collectors or private individuals that may help me in my lifelong search for a place to sell my art so others may enjoy and I may survive.
