Biography
Nick Elias, an accomplished professional vineyard photographer who is best known for his widely published images of the California wine country. Originally from England, Nick came to the United States in 1970 and has lived in Lake County, California since 1981. His photographs are regularly published in magazines and advertisements worldwide and to illustrate other sites on the internet:

Style Realism

A style of painting which depicts subject matter (form, color, space) as it appears in actuality or ordinary visual experience without distortion or stylization. In a general sense, refers to objective representation. More specifically, a nineteenth century movement, especially in France, that rejected idealized academic styles in favor of everyday subjects. Daumier, Millet, and Courbet were realists.
