Biography
I am just an ordinary Joe Bloggs who happens to like painting. I paint to relax as do thousands of others; it is a purely personal experience. Recently, people have bought some of my work. They have in effect bought a little part of me. If that has brought a little pleasure to them then I feel very humbled indeed. It was not my motive to sell paintings and it is still not the prime motive that drives me to continue painting. For me painting is an escape from lifes everyday rules and regulations; you can make and break your own rules as and when you feel and that brings you the freedom of expression that art is all about. I dont have the burden of having been told what is right or wrong as regards painting, for I have never been to any art classes in my life. Whether that is a plus or minus from your point of view, I leave you to decide. If only one piece works for one person then that is fine by me. I hope that the person is you. Thank you for taking the time to read this and looking at the work on display.
