Biography
Italian Naive Painter/Artist born in 1939 at Sabbio Chiese he uses a chromatic Impasto that makes use of directed and diffused light at the same time giving his paintings a sense of illumination. His paintings are of the "naive" tradition. Scalvini make use of objects, houses, figures and animals in shapes that seem lacking in ties that determine traditional proportions of length, width and height, shapes seem nearly suspended.
