The author, Bogdan Goloyad is 39 y.o. He lives and works in Kiev, Ukraine.
He is an artist of a rare gift: sculptor, painter, graphic artist. Studied in
the National Academy of Arts, Kiev; Lviv Academy of Arts,
earlier National Art School for gifted children, Kiev Bogdan has got
an outstanding academic school in arts.
European Realism in art was born in Italy, later widely spread in France,
Holland and other Europe. Its pick of performance was in the 19th century.
That is the author is greatly delighted with and striving to.
Bogdan Goloyad has a proved track record: the central crucifixion in
wood of the Catholic cathedral of Saint Alexander on the Kostelna street in Kiev, the Central iconostasis of the Kiev Catholic (Eastern ceremony) church of Saint Nikolay, murals in public and private residences in Ukraine, works (paintings, graphics, sculptures in marble, wood and terracotta) of the artist are in private collections of the United States of America, Poland, Russia, Austria, France,Germany and Greece. |
