Biography
Alejandra Martinez, called Yaya by family and friends was born in Mexico City in 1972, she grew up in a little town with a beautiful lake and sourronded by mountains. Her childhood had great influence in her adult life since she has always been very sensitive towards nature and animals. She has a Graphic design degree and works as an art director in an important firm, but painting has always been her passion, she went to Spain to study art techniques and has been painting since she was girl.

Style Abstract

A 20th century style of painting in which nonrepresentational lines, colors, shapes, and forms replace accurate visual depiction of objects, landscape, and figures. The subjects often stylized, blurred, repeated or broken down into basic forms so that it becomes unrecognizable. Intangible subjects such as thoughts, emotions, and time are often expressed in abstract art form.
