Bonnie Thao is a Professional Visual Artist from the Twin Cities. She has a passion for quality, texture, color and detail in all her work. Thaos love for the art in old building structures inspired her to recreate the art in different abstract designs on wood panels. Wood panels are chosen to give the best aged affect and surface appeal, which she builds herself and are light enough to hang on walls with simple supports. All four sides are painted a dark brown to make the painting able to hang frame free! Thao uses the finest professional acrylic paints, which keep their pigment and color after drying. Each layer of paint is chosen with much thought. Each painting takes 5 to ten layers of paint to give it its full affect which Thao dedicates her time patience and persistence to create. Every painting is varnished for best protection for many years to come! The way our homes reflect our lives is changing. We love mixing old with new and modern with vintage, right?!
