Biography
I was brought up in an undeveloped area, my father passed away when I was very young and subsequently I was introduced to the care of the social services. However with an ever increasing creative mind I became a member of the local art society from the age of 14 and exhibited work locally thereon. Many years later I met a serviceman and we married and had children however our first born died suddenly at Alder Hey Children's Hospital and soon afterwards I was drawn to the possibility of working for myself in order to raise money for this charity. After a short time I was diagnosed with epilepsy and this meant my first business venture at this time had to cease. 12 months on I set about displaying work in the local galleries and decided to open my own business as a self representing artist. I enjoy photography as well as other art mediums and am currently in the process of moving my studio from home to a unit close by. I still raise money for the hospital with 5% of all profits going directly to Alder Hey in Liverpool. I hope you enjoy my work which I feel is usually inspired by my feelings at the time of production. Thank You xxx
