Biography
Originally born in Brooklyn NY, one of ten children born to Evelio & Alba Garavito two short months after arriving to the United States from Colombia, S.A. Trained as an illustrator, quickly found her love of oils and watercolors, Paris, Florence and everything associated with Michaelangelo and the Impressionists. Gladys has exhitied work at The National Arts Club, Gramercy Park, NY as well as Ariel Gallery in Soho, NY. Her themes are mostly male nudes and still lifes.
