Biography
I am a self taught artist who grew up in New Orleans, Lousiana. I live close to my home town stilll and enjoy the flavors of the city. My art is mainly whimsical and abstract using bright, vivid colors on gallery wrapped canvas. My favorite medium is oils but I do experiment with other mediums, acrylic, collage, sketch, oil pastels. I paint as an outlet and because creating something original is very soothing to my soul. I hope you enjoy my art and I hope it can add to your life in some way. Thank You! Jamie Campbell

Style Abstract

A 20th century style of painting in which nonrepresentational lines, colors, shapes, and forms replace accurate visual depiction of objects, landscape, and figures. The subjects often stylized, blurred, repeated or broken down into basic forms so that it becomes unrecognizable. Intangible subjects such as thoughts, emotions, and time are often expressed in abstract art form.
