Biography
I was born in Elgin Ill. and moved with my parents to North Carolina at age five. I remember drawing as early as age four. By age eight I was using pastel, chalk, and charcoal to create artwork. I was very inspired by Gustave Diore's artwork in our family bible as a young child. I began painting in oil at approximately age 10. I currently reside in Asheboro, North Carolina with my husband and three lovely children.

Style Photorealism

A figurative movement that emerged in the United States and Britain in the late 1960s and 1970s. The subject matter, usually everyday scenes, is portrayed in an extremely detailed, exacting style. It is also called superrealism, especially when referring to sculpture.
