Biography
My main job is landscape gardening but i love to paint, its in my blood, even after a hard days work in the garden, i cant wait to pickup my brushes, i think the gardening/painting compliment eachother well, they are much the same in many ways. I am mainly self taught but have been painting and drawing since i was a small child, i have had many exhibitions in my home town of Edinburgh/Scotland, they include the galleries of Dundas Street, Out rageous and Also many restaurants and cafe's. I love oils as my medium but have used many others, i like to create texture in a painting and all my work comes from my own mind, especially dreams, i never copy or paint anything in real life, i feel my work is trully original if i avoid this.

These paintings are often abstract, the subject matter distorted in color and form to emphasize and express the intense emotion of the artist.
