Biography
My name is Eric Sorensen and I'm a self taught watercolor artist currently living in Evanston Il. In my work I try to focus on an equal depth of color and perspective using a minimum of select detail. I want my paintings to be a suggestion to the viewers imagination, not an obvious statement to their sense of understanding. My ultimate goal is to give the viewer the true feeling of what it's like to be somewhere, not just show them what something looks like. In the future I'm looking forward to exploring new ideas, and continuing to develop my own unique style.
