Biography
I have a BFA in printmaking and graphic design. I have been practicing wood printing for 20 years. Some color reduction prints and intaglio when I have a press but mostly hand pressed b/w prints. Imagery is evoked by my current state of emotions. Creating emotions through positive and negative space is a challenge that I believe is the artist in me. However, I can create subjects/images based on a client's wishes. Other mediums I work in is graphite (drawing), and acrylics with and without the addition of collage. Digital medium is also some work I have been including in my portfolio but am more of a traditional hands-on artiist. I have always given my art to friends and family and would like to begin selling them. This is why I am here showing my art and I hope you enjoy it.
