Biography | |
NGUYEN MANH HUNG Graduated from Hanoi Fine Art University, Viet Nam (2002)
I like the humorousness and want to tease with everything mischievously.
Surrealist is a good language that helps me to do it.
I like the combination between the modern and high technical factors together
with the primitive and handicraft ones in the same work.
I like using the images about the life and society around me in order to materialize my paintings.
Most of my paintings are only the drafts for my next ideas and when my conditions enable,
I will carry it out with the real objects in the real space, 3D.
All of my ideas are started from my thoughts:
"Vietnam is one of the most special countries all over the world.
Vietnamese live, work, and behave according to our habits and instincts.
Those living activities affect on Vietnamese.
No matter how Vietnam develops and no matter what the tendency is,
Vietnamese still keep on these types of living activities.
They make Vietnamese so special no matter where they are
