I am a self-taught artist and photographer, was born and raised in Moscow, Russia and came to US with my two sons in mid'90s.
I was inspired to begin painting in early age by my grandfather, Nikolay Kazansky, self-trained artist, later, while a physics major in University of Moscow, I studied classical drawing and art history and attended life model drawing classes at the studio of my uncle, Michael Kazansky, a noted Moscow painter.
