Biography
I was born in the Holme Valley, West Yorkshire, UK. A wonderful place lots of inspiration for art and the countryside, big valleys and wild moorland landscapes. I started to paint in oils at the age of 12, this is my prefered medium, but I like ink wash drawing and using water colours as well. I love the outdoors, mountains, walking, hiking and mountaineering, this gives me lots of inspiration for my paintings, sketching or painting in the wilds then producing oil paintings in the studio. I studied art at Huddersfield Art School then went onto Central school of Art in London for my BA Fine art course. I have worked as a mural artist in London, Project worker for the Prince of Wales Committee, Exhibitions in London, Yorkshire, Holland and Switzerland. I also studied Architecture and love buildings, I have also done commissioned work for individuals. I now live in London, UK.
