Luca Comelli was born in Genoa in 1970. Lives and works in Camogli. He graduates in the Institute of Fine Arts. His training continues in the workshop of Maestro Bruno where he learns the realistic technique of pure color, whereas in the study of his grandfather Rodolfo incorporates the use of color matter in the technique of spatula. Versatile artist gets great praise from critics and audiences  for its excellent views of the magnificent Ligurian seascapes  and picturesque sailboats.
