Abel Quintero was born in the countryside of Havana, Cuba and grew up caressed by the sound of his mother singing Cuban folkloric songs known as "decimas". Abel´s literary thirst and admiration for his rich Cuban culture provide the perfect platform for the development of his unique style. His deep understanding of tradition coupled with his technical abilities are evident in  every single work of art executed by this sensitive and creative artist.
