Jerry Cool is a local artist, Who lives in Muncie,Indiana with his wife Rita. Jerry has two son's Troy and Eric Cool< and Many Grandchildren.

Jerry was inspired by his Mother Lois Cool,Who bought him paint by number as a small child. Jerry loves to express himself through the joy of painting.

Jerry has over come, but still struggles with guillain-Barre syndrome. After the attack of guillain-Barre Jerry had to learn to walk,talk and eat all over again, Although this was one of the hardest things to over come,he began to paint again. However with Guillain-Barre his arm reach isn't the same and this makes him have to paint upside down at times.(I hope this inspires others who are or have gone thorugh troubling times....to never give up!!)This is Truly a god given gift and Jerry loves to share the joy his paintings brings to others.

Jerry is a five time national art competition winner and has donated many of his paintings to Churches. There is even one of his paintings hanging at the White House of the Desert Storm War...

Jerry is John Wayne's biggest fan, and has painted many of his favorite actor. John Wayne sent Jerry a thank you letter of a painting he sent to him.

More resently....You may have seen him in the Star-Press with Gary Faulkner who is on the trail of Osama Bin Laden.
