My name is Damien Obiah Peeples. I have been interested and awestruck by art since a very early age. I would always stare at statues, paintings, and drawings with such a open mind that I would feel as if nothing else exsited. When i moved to highschool i took my first art class and my passion for art just exploded! I studied how to work with oil pastels, charcoal, chalk, oil paints, acrilycs, pencil, pen, temper paints, watercolor, watercolor pencils, gesso, etc. When i realized that i had talent i started pursuing art as a career. I'm taking art as my major and i'm hoping to get a degree in visual arts. My main concentration in my art is the subject of Holocaust. Just being able to express myself in such a raw and vivid subject gives me the feeling of freedom. I can show so many emotions in that subject. I really enjoy doing personal creations, things that are totally out of my concentration but totally in my realm of thought. When you look at my art that is Damien Peeples, that is me. Art is my passion and passion is my art.
