Bozena Kwiatkowska
Born in Poland. Studied and graduated at Academy of Fine Arts in £ód, Poland (1985).
Exhibition and awards:
- 1984 and 1985 First Prizes in Strzeminski Competition, Lodz, Poland,
- 1987- individual exhibition of oil paintings, House of Culture Praga, Warsaw, Poland,
- 1988- group exhibition Music in Painting, Tarnow, Poland,
- 1992-95 presentations of silk paintings at the fairs in Munich and Nuremberg, Germany, (in cooperation with German Kunst auf Seide Galerie),
- 1995- group exhibition Miniature Paintings, GIT, Warsaw, Poland,
- 1996- individual exhibition My Silk Road, Palacyk Gallery, Warsaw, Poland,
- 1997, 1998, 2000- group exhibitions in Galerie Artpol, Brussel, Belgium,

Style Realism |

A style of painting which depicts subject matter (form, color, space) as it appears in actuality or ordinary visual experience without distortion or stylization. In a general sense, refers to objective representation. More specifically, a nineteenth century movement, especially in France, that rejected idealized academic styles in favor of everyday subjects. Daumier, Millet, and Courbet were realists. |
