Biography
Weber was a German born artist who settled in France and painted many maritime scenes throughout his life. His work is highly regarded and eagerly sought. Auction records show that his work is widely appreciated amongst collectors. In 1999 at Auction in Denmark at Nelleman & Thomsen Weber's work Pulling the Boat On Shore sold for $ 4,888. In 1993 Weber's French Fishing Boats Coming Into Harbour at Boulogne sold for $17,640 at Philps Auction House in London. The work we have to offer is a delightful scene of a sailboats in a churning sea and a dock with people
