Description 
The Cathedral is on a solid piece of old growth cedar. The cedar was recoved from a downed tree ,that had been on the ground for a least a hundred years. It had two large hemlocks growing on top of it. The cedar wood is estimated at about 1000 years old. All the wood is burned and prepared by hand. This piece took about 130 hours to complete. Because of the hard and soft growth rings, cedar is very difficult to work with. All burns are rustic in nature, an this one has a routered edge and flat back.
