This painting is about the big googarr(lizard). Long ago there was a very thirsty googarr(lizard) ,he drunk all the water all over the land so there was no water left. The tribes man were all going thirsty . All the tribal elders(wise man) had a meeting and decided to spear the googarr in the belly so all the water would come out all over the land.Biamie(our god) said if you do that ill make sure that the googarr will never drink all the water again ill make him small. So the the hunter went out and speared the googarr in the belly and all the water came out of his belly and filled up all the water holes and the rivers.By Lionel Phillips. The big dots in the wiggly circles is the water hole .The little dots in wiggly circles is the desert.The two circles with a wiggly a line attatched to them is a bora ring (tribal area).All the animals in this painting means the different tribes and thier totams.
