Description 
The French Bulldog is a lovely friendly dog, and I tried to convey the sense of humor and friendship these dogs posess. My "Naptime" theme is for 2006 only, and I will do each breed of dog only once-these are original works with much sculptural detail. The depth of this Wallhanging vaires from under 1/4 inch to one inch deep. Please email me for more/better photos. But all my work looks so much better "in person". Polymer clay is sculpted on a marble wheel, fired in my oven, sanded lightly for optimal paint adhesion, painted with high quality artists acrylics, except where I have used colored clays-these are allowed to show through; the entire work is given a coating of clear varnish after painting to protect the work/painting, and the back is given small strips of cloth to protect it as it hangs on your wall. The back has one or more wire hanging loops fired into it. The tiles the dog stands on are engraved with the theme and the number of the theme ( Naptime #4) and the year (2006), and the artists initials. The back is signed by the artist, and has the breed of dog ( French Bulldog), and the theme and number again. A lovely, very unique work of art.
