Description

This is a polymer clay Wallhanging, it is an original work, so it is one of a kind. The clay was sculpted on a marble wheel, fired, sanded, then painted with high quality artists acrylics. The ram is of the Highland breed, a sturdy and hardy breed, very realistically detailed. The sculptural qualities are hard to appreciate in photos. The wings are very realistically detailed as well, and are based on owl wing conformation. The color of the wings incorporates purples, and the purple is also accented on the ram's face and horns. A red swirled heart adornes the ram's chest. The attached brass-plated hang chain, imported from Italy, measures 9 inches. This is a unique piece, and it brings a feeling of warmth that folk art can, to the room. Also imparts the idea that anything is possible-as this loving ram can fly!
