St. Johns - Religious II - by Frere Eric
These three bright and inviting acrylic paintings were as stained glass window designs for St. John Lutheran Church in Taylor, Mi. The paintings give the feeling that they were designed for that purpose, and look a lot like stained glass windows themselves. The use of the bright primary colors and stylized, yet easily interpreted forms make these paintings worth a longer look. Each painting measures 8.5” x 3”, and are placed together in a plum colored mat and gold colored wood frame that enhances the colors of the paintings and makes the entire picture 14.5” x 21”.
